Did you know that you can now get matching address labels and gift labels for almost all our designs? It's true! Just click here to go to our associate store at Zazzle! All the labels and stickers can be ordered in two great sizes. You have a choice of 1" or 3" round labels. We recommend the smaller one for return addresses and the larger one for more statement pieces and larger gifts. First and formost Let me just say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NICHOLAS! My baby is 3 today!

I cannot believe how big he is. AND just TWO short years ago, I had the basic concept of Miss 'N Nick Designs. I had come up with the name and had only four invitations designed. So in March of 2007, I took my prototypes to some of the nice retail stores in my area. And you know what? They liked my work! Candy Hirte from Where's the Party in Costa Mesa was especially helpful. What a fun and successful lady! I just love her. She was one of my very first customers!

If you are in the Southern California area, you must make a visit to Where's the Party. Over the years it has grown and grown and she has one of the best collections of invitations and party supplies I have ever seen, including Miss 'N Nick of course!

Okay so on to the giveaway! Miss 'N Nick is turning TWO. My son is a whopping THREE years old today! And all of this is in conjunction with the virtual open house going on at my cooking and recipe site, Art and Aioli. Baby boys and baby girls. Newborn babies are so sweet. So pure and soft and adorably cute. Welcoming babies into our hearts and showering them and announcing their arrivals never goes out of season. In honor of my fourth niece's birth (but I am an aunt for the 9th time... you do the math), I want to highlight all of our baby announcements and baby shower invitations. Welcome into the world and our family little Simone Hoppe!!! We love you and can't wait to get to know you better.

The above card is very versatile and is often used for both a baby announcement or a baby shower. It was originally designed and illustrated after an inspirational photo of baby Simone's sister, Caroline, was taken. She was wearing the darling ruffled panties that had belonged to my daughter. It is all in the family!

It is never too soon to start your baby off in style. They are only this tiny for a short while. CELEBRATE! Announce it! Shower them and remember how blessed you are to have this little person come into your life.

October 28, 2008Fall has arrived and so has the new Disney Tinkerbell Movie! Little girls everywhere can now see their favorite character in her own land and how she came to be the cutest and most inspiring fairy of all. Available on Disney DVD and Blu-ray.

My daughter has been waiting breathlessly for months and today she finally had the chance to see the movie. It was as adorable as you could expect. Disney never misses a beat and never disappoints. We all loved it! So much that we are sending out invitations for a little mini screening at our home complete with popcorn and red licorice.

Here at Miss 'N Nick Designs we strive not only to provide unique designs and the highest quality product but are also working toward doing our part for our environment and our economy.

With the focus on the environment we are thinking green and doing our part to help. Our stationery is printed on FSC certified paper which adheres to strict environmental standards and meest the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). If you would like to learn more about the FSC, please visit their website at www.fsc.org.

Go can go green with with one of our favorite new designs - the green guitar note card. Printed on the above FSC certified paper, it is not only cool for the environment but cool to look at.
We are also very proud to let you know that all of our cards and invitations are made here in the United States. We our proud of our country and what it stands for and make every effort to keep the work and the dollar within America.

Speaking of national pride, let's here it for our Olympians! They are already doing an amazing job in Beijing and we are rooting for them every step of the way.

WE TOOK A BITE OUT OF THE BIG APPLE!

This was Miss 'N Nick Designs first year at the National Stationery Show in New York. And we are proud to say we were met with much enthusiasm and interest along with a good amount of orders! Our client base is growing as is our line and our excitement about the future of Miss 'N Nick.

Never having seen the show in New York, it was quite a whirlwind. The show is so massive and there is so much to do and see. I didn't get to see nearly as many of the booths that I wanted to see as I was so busy in my own booth meeting people, taking orders and introducing the Miss 'N Nick style. I loved every minute of it even if my poor feet did not. There is A LOT of standing.

Since this was our first year at the show and we didn't quite know what to expect, we kept the booth fairly simple and went with our signature bright pink to make the display pop and catch the passers' eye.

We also unveiled our new Holiday invitations and photo cards. Look for these to be featured here on the site and in stock by the first of July. I can't wait.

The whole experience was so exciting and we feel our first year was a success. One of the best parts was meeting some of the many other talented designers and manufacturers who offered not only insight and advice but warm smiles and a great sense of friendship and camaraderie.

We will be in New York in just two weeks! Yes the National Stationery Show starts two weeks from today -- May 18-May 21.

This will be our first year exhibiting and we are so excited for the opportunity. Not only will we have the opportunity to meet some of our Reps we have only spoken on the phone with, but we will be able to meet some of the competitors and on the supply side look for cool new ideas, gem stones, colored envelopes, glitter. I am sure there will be much to devour and get information on.

If you will be attending the trade show, please stop by and pay us a visit. We are in booth 1166. I can't wait to be there. The energy of the city and all the new contacts we will make is so thrilling.

Do you ever... feel just a little giddy when seeing a letter or card has come in the mail? We ALL get the bills -- plenty of them. And junk mail? Most could start wallpapering the house with the amount that arrives. But how about a little note?

Surprise your friend or a distant relative by sending a card for no reason other than you care and have been thinking of them. Imagine the smile on their face when they open the card. Priceless. And if your grandmother is anything like mine, she doesn't have internet and email. We keep close to so many via this cyber world but what about them? Send a note to your grandmother and include a great "funny" clip or magazine article you think she would like.

Miss 'N Nick Designs is proud to announce the launch of our new website! Thank you to Staci and her team at Quirky Bird for a wonderful job! We just love our new look.

Last March, Miss 'N Nick was just an idea and I started showing the first six (yet-to-be-produced) designs just to see what kind of response I would get. We now have over 50 invitations and cards in stock, sales reps, stationery in retail stores across the country, a brand new storefront on-line and a busy two months ahead as we prepare to exhibit at the National Stationery Show in New York!

It has been a whirlwind to say the least but such an exciting adventure. We are so happy with the current growth and hope your like our product as much as we enjoy creating it. Keep checking back here for more news and more product updates.
